How many guests can the Old Rectory Accommodate?
We require a minimum guest number of 60 and the maximum we can hold is 250 guests.

How long do you usually spend at your initial drink’s reception?
Usually you spend between 1.5 – 2.5hours mingling with your guests before being invited for dinner.

What time are guests usually invited for dinner?
Times may vary due to guest numbers, dinner service time etc. However we usually recommend between 4.15PM – 5.00PM.

When do we have our speeches?
We always advise speeches before your meal.

Is there a bar service?
Yes, we supply a full bar service for the duration of your day. We have an excellent bar service and range of beverages at the Old Rectory.

Can I bring my own wine?
Yes, you are welcome to bring in your own Champagne, prosecco or non-alcoholic alternative for your arrival reception. You are also welcome to bring your own wine for dinner service only. All bottles brought in by couples are subject to a corkage charge of £8.50 per bottle. Alternatively, we have our own in-house wine and beverage list that you are welcome to choose from.

Can I request an alternative arrival drinks reception?
Yes, we always encourage individuality at the Old Rectory. Our bar manager will be happy to discuss further any specific requests you may have.

Who organises glassware?
If you are organising a specific welcome drinks arrival through our bar, the Old Rectory will provide appropriate glassware and are responsible for serving. All wine glasses and glassware for your wedding banquet should be organised through your caterer. If you have any queries regarding this, please discuss further with your wedding coordinator and chosen caterer.

What time does the bar stay open to?
In accordance to Northern Ireland licensing laws the bar is permitted to serve alcohol to 1.00AM. However hours may vary at certain days/times of the year.

What time can music play too?
In accordance to Entertainments License regulations music can be played to 1.00AM. We respectfully ask that live music stops 23.00AM and DJ plays the reminder of the night to 1.00AM. *These hours may vary depending on time of year/days etc.

Do you have car parking?
Yes, we have parking onsite parking available at the Old Rectory. Please speak to your wedding coordinator for more information regarding this.

When I place a provisional booking, how long do I have before I am expected to confirm the booking with a deposit?
We will provisionally hold your date for one week until we kindly request a deposit to secure.

What is the deposit required?
We require a deposit of £2000 to hold your date. This will then be deducted from your wedding venue hire cost. Deposits are non-refundable.

Do you require a Security Deposit?
Within 7 days of your event date we will require a pre-authorisation on your credit card of £500 which will be held in the event of any damages. This will be returned within 7 days of your wedding date subject to T&C.

Payment
We require full payment within 28 days from your wedding date and in accordance to your specific payment schedule outlined in your booking forms. Your wedding coordinator will be happy to discuss this further.

Do you have onsite accommodation?
Yes, we do have onsite accommodation. We pride ourselves in offering a home from home experience. We can sleep 26 guests onsite. Costs include a luxury local foods hamper the following morning. Furthermore, you can allocate room costs to guests staying. Your wedding coordinator will be happy to give you further information regarding accommodation options and rates.

Is there further accommodation close to the Old Rectory for guests?
Yes, we benefit from being in an excellent location. We are situated approximately 10minutes either side from tourist board approved accommodation providers, these include small boutique hotels, B&B’s, and Self – Catering apartments.

When can I come to The Old Rectory to get set up for my wedding?
Our aim is to be as accommodating as we possibly can. You are welcome to drop items off at the Rectory prior to the big day itself, after a final run through with your wedding co-ordinator you can leave this in our capable and experienced hands to implement for you.

Can I stay in the venue the night before, or the day after my wedding?
We have a exciting new project underway at the Old Rectory and will be launching a new onsite getting facility in October 2025. You are welcome to arrive on the morning off your wedding to get ready or stay the evening before. The accommodation will sleep 8-10 guests. Your wedding coordinator will be happy to share further details regarding this for you.

Can we get married on-site at The Old Rectory?
Yes, we have a beautiful garden room which can accommodate 160 guests. Our gardens are fully licensed also for outdoor ceremonies also.

What do I need to do to get married at The Old Rectory?
This is dependent on your type of ceremony. Your wedding co-ordinator will be happy to guide you on this.

Is there a fee at the Old Rectory for onsite ceremonies?
Our onsite ceremony fee is £600.
