The Old Rectory can accommodate up to 250 dining guests in our Grand Pavilion.

At the Old Rectory we have an approved caterers list. Generally, you will work directly with your chosen caterer who will arrange a bespoke menu to suit your taste. Catering costs are not included within your venue hire fee; your chosen caterer will cost you accordingly.

Usually you spend between 2 to 2 1/2 hours mingling with your guests before being invited for dinner.

Times may vary due to numbers, time for dinner etc but usually between 4.30PM – 5.15PM.

Generally, speeches are done before the meal. However, we usually leave this up to you to decide when you would like to have them.

Yes, we supply a full bar service for the duration of your day.

Yes, you are welcome to bring in your own Champagne, prosecco or non alcoholic alternative for your arrival reception. This is strictly limited to ONE glass per guest. Wine is also permitted for serving during dinner only and is limited to half a bottle per guest. All bottles brought in by couples are subject to a corkage charge of £8.50 per bottle. Alternatively, we have our own in house wine list that you are welcome to choose from.

Yes, we always encourage individuality at the Old Rectory. Our bar manager will be happy to discuss further any specific requests you may have.

If you are organising a specific welcome drinks arrival through our bar, the Old Rectory will provide appropriate glassware and are responsible for serving. If you are providing your own prosecco or a specific non-alcoholic welcome drinks reception through your caterer, they are responsible for appropriate glassware and serving. All wine glasses and glassware for your wedding banquet should be organised through your caterer. If you have any queries regarding this, please discuss further with your wedding co-ordinator and chosen caterer.

In accordance to Northern Ireland licensing laws the bar is permitted to serve alcohol to 1.00AM. Hours may vary at certain days/times of the year.

In accordance to Entertainments License regulations music can be played to 1.00AM. We respectfully ask that live music stops 23.00AM and DJ plays the reminder of the night to 1.00AM. *These hours may vary depending on time of year/days etc.

At the Old Rectory we have an in-house sound system which we require your band and DJ to play through. If you require further information regarding this, please contact your wedding co-ordinator.

Yes, we have parking onsite parking available at the Old Rectory. Please speak to your wedding coordinator for more information regarding this. We also offer a pickup and drop off service to and from the carpark all day and evening for your guests.

We require a deposit of £1000 to hold your date. This will then be deducted from your wedding venue hire cost. Deposits are non-refundable.

We require full payment within 28 days from your wedding date and in accordance to your specific payment schedule outlined in your booking forms. Your wedding co-ordinator will be happy to discuss this further.

Within 7 days of your wedding date we will require a pre-authorisation on your credit card of £500 which will be held in the event of any damages. This will be returned within 7 days of your wedding date subject to T&C.

Yes, we do have onsite accommodation. We pride ourselves in offering a home from home experience. Costs include a luxury local foods hamper the following morning. Your wedding co-ordinator will be happy to give you further information regarding accommodation options.

Yes, we benefit from being in an excellent location. We are situated approximately 10minutes either side from tourist board approved accommodation providers, these include small boutique hotels, B&B’s and Self – Catering apartments. Please see below;

Our aim is to be as accommodating as we possibly can on the run up to your wedding. You are welcome to drop items off at the Rectory prior to the big day itself. Your wedding co-ordinator will only be too happy to organise this with you.

We have packages available to accommodate this. Your wedding co-ordinator will be happy to discuss this further.

We do our upmost to accommodate our couples and you are more than welcome to come to the Old Rectory earlier in the morning to get ready and enjoy a bridal breakfast also. This is a wonderful opportunity for photographs. We do charge a small fee. Please ask your wedding co-ordinator for further details.

Yes, we have various locations registered for ceremonies at The Old Rectory. Your wedding co-ordinator will discuss options with you further alongside permitted numbers.

For a civil ceremony we would recommend you firstly check availability of the registrar for your chosen date. Each couple must apply directly to Mid Ulster District Council Registration Office, we will then provide the necessary documents to return to the council.

For religious ceremonies you can bring your own minister.

For Humanist, you should ensure that your Humanist celebrant has requested permission to carry out your wedding on specified date.

Notice of Marriage applications should be completed and signed by your Humanist celebrant. It is still required that you make an appointment to submit you Notice of Marriage Application to the Registry Office of Mid Ulster District council.

Yes, we have a set-up fee of £450 at the Old Rectory to cover the following costs;

  • Staff for the positioning of chairs and tables
  • Ceremony location, set up and take down
